Favorite non-AE86?
I've always wanted an 86 (big Inital D fan, can't help it), but I've had a plethora of other cars and curious to know what everyone's favorite car(s) they've had besides the 86? I've got 2 that I'd really like to own again.
First, my FD. Just beautiful...Mostly stock, R1 suspension and dual oil coolers. 62k original miles. Mmmmmmm...
And my blobeye WRX. Much less stock lol built STI bottom end with ported WRX heads fed by a Blouch 18g with lots of other goodies.
So what's everybody got?

I always wanted an SW20. Still do. Only problem is that I'm not going to give up my AE86 as my project car. Also my DD cant be a 2 seater (I'm always hauling DJ equipment)
Re: Favorite non-AE86?
Wow lots of nice cars in here. You folks have good taste.
Subaru wagons are awesome (especially blue ones). It's a shame they stopped making them this year for the WRX/STI line... fun and practicality combined cannot be beat.

I really liked my AW11 with the blacktop 20v and C60 6 speed.
It was an absolute blast to drive, but didn't have enough room to take two people, luggage, and tools across the continent, which is the goal for the Corolla.

I had this one once, a Datsun 160SSS with the OEM twin SU carbs and "transistorised" ignition setup. It was a hoot to drive and a scourge to bigger displacement cars of the time. I used to call it the Corvette eater because I used to humiliate those ones with the L48 350 smallblock.

Well... I no longer have an AE86... although my AE71 is partially AE86ized.... so I'll begin with that....
My first car...(waaaay back in 1976) was a 1964 Volvo 1800S... and I've always enjoyed their look.

If I had unlimited money I'd go with the Nissan GT-R. It just seems so... perfect.

That is quite possibly the cleanest Supra, regardless of generation, that there ever was.

The title of the thread is (favorite non-AE86) I thought and not (what cars have you owned thats not an AE86).
This should qualify then I guess.

Not making a big deal of it, but just trying to keep things on track with the question the OP asked.
Its like a thead asking whats your favorite dog, and everyone posting pics of cats...

My first car
1986 Subaru GL-10 Turbo AWD. It was owned by a grandma before I got it. I regret not keeping this! Actually, I regret not making it clear to my pops that it is something I'd like to keep instead of junking it just because my block was toast. Oh man..
