Seats
Seats
I am planning on keeping my back seats, but what front seats would look good in a simple AE86 im not going crazy with on the exterior portion?
Something that looks like its from the 80s.
I was thinking some Celica Supra seats.

Re: Seats
I loved my Recaros I had in my supra. Good support laterally during turns, just not quite as good as a racing seat like Bride or recaro racing etc...
If you want to use a harness with OEM type seats, I would just make sure that they pass through straight and correct to prevent bodily harm. Obviously a harness bar directly behind the shoulder line is needed for this so you dont snap your spine low on your back.
Older supra seats, while pretty comfy and decent with lateral support, might not look right in the ae86. They are a little bloated and might look out of place.

Re: Seats
Of course.
My AE isn't going to be exciting when it's done but its going to be what I wanted out of one: enough power to be fun, restored well enough to be something I'm really proud of, and handle well enough to remind me of why I love these cars.

And that is what ownership is all about. Enjoying what you have, and having the satisfaction driving and owning it.

not likely a Crown Vic... more than likely the mid 90s Luminas. I didn't pull them... I bought them off Craigslist. I learned about them from an ex Recaro employee
