I do not remember the name of it. Normally devices like that have to do with raising the idle under an electrical load to compensate. So for example when you turn on your air conditioning. This will cause the idle to dip down. So those devices normally detect this and let in a little bit more air to raise the idle.

I am unsure if its related to the AC. I was just giving an example. Its disconnected on my car and Im not having issues. However, I would keep it connected. If you dont know what it is, keep it connected :p. As far as the lines under the throttle body goes, heres some information that will help you out:

http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-c ... pipes.html

It looks like it is related to the AC and PS assemblies. If you dont have either, you can loop them. I have them looped on my car but I dont remember how(My car is somewhere else).

EDIT- just found out that thing next to the AFM is the VSV(vacuum switching Valve).
It looks like it is an electrically controlled valve that lets in extra air to the engine behind the throttle body blade. Im am unsure of when it is actuated though. Heres a good picture for everyone to follow when wondering how these things are hooked up. I took it from my personal FSM:

The electrical idle up valve, with the green plug. its to raise the idle a bit to compensate for electrical load, lights, blinker, etc. I disconnected mine and capped the vacuum ports.

The three ports visible in your pic are vacuum for power steering and a/c. if you dont have either, cap them. do not loop.

the 2 that point down are the water in and out for the iascv, connect them in the way that makes sense when you look at the water pipes and the ports on the throttle body, more forward pipe goes to the front port, etc.

w00t! Hopefully they arent damaged in the same spot. lol. if you give up on the wiring, dr.tweak can make a 16v harness too.

im actually a electrical engineer drop out. so i just need to know the wire colors and the actualy schematic of it. the FSM wiring diagram is so vague. im gunna actually make my own wiring diagram with pics and everything. and make my own wire loom and just reuse the connectors

might want to get new connectors for the injectors(usually the first to break off)

I used these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/avm-30-2020
