"Official" Interior Thread
Re: "Official" Interior Thread
Memories... Haru I was inspired by your shifter cover plate years ago, I'm making a floor plate to go in place of the boot; no center console.

Sean, thinking of buying one, but do u have to remove ur dash in order to install this thing?
Re: "Official" Interior Thread
idreamofdrifting, that's an uber clean interior you've got there!
Concerning your question, I believe all you do is just slap it on top of your existing dash, with some sort of
adhesive probably.
I can't speak with experience, but I have heard from numerous members here that the dash caps just warp
within a very short period of time. But again, I can't speak from experience. I have never owned one.

I believe it all depends on the environment. My car has had a dash cap on it for 7 years, but it does not sit out in the sun for prolonged periods of time.

Here's my jankyass (lack of) interior. I was going to recover the dash with some fancy fake alcantera fake suede stuff and it was gonna look nice but that didn't get finished. I think I have the biggest shifter? Compensating for my lil wiener ya know.

Re: "Official" Interior Thread
Thanks man. It's the plastic handle off a giant Craftsman pry bar. Run the under under hot water for a minute, then clamp the metal shank in a bench vise with a small gap so you can use another pry bar underneath and pry the handle up and off the shank. It's just pressed together. I pressed a 3" shifter extension into the handle so it's threaded for easy removal. Drop a little epoxy in there if it's not a tight fit. Plus after you take the handle off, you can take what's left of the pry bar back to Sears and get a new one free lol.

Can it you.
You live in Japan, also known as the mystical land of horny but extremely innocent looking perfectly skinny 18 year old girls, Skylines, Eunos Cosmos, NSXs, and all the other cars I love with the steering wheel in the correct location.
You have everything sir. Everything. T_T

LOL!!
I never thought the way you said, but, you are 99.99% correct other than the location of the steering wheel.
I have no issues driving RHD here in Japan but, I feel more natural shifting with my right hand.....
PS My current daily's interior is quite comfortable, too...

In the most loving brotherly way possible:
I hope you die.
I hope you marry an adorable Japanese woman that gains like 400 pounds and ends up weighing all of 500 pounds when its done that makes snus-nu with you and you DIE.
