16V TRD Headgasket part numbers?

Postby overspool » Tue Apr 30, 2013 1:21 pm

So, I have been scowering the internet for the part numbers for the TRD head gaskets. I found the first one...

.8MM TRD Gasket- PTR04-17900-03 or... 00643-11115-000

But, I can't seem to find the part number for the elusive .5mm head gasket for the 16v. They are easily found for the 20v engines. Help me out guys. I'm tearing apart my motor again, and I figure I'll do a little bit of fixing up while I'm in there.

AH so that's why I couldn't find anything. Thanks dood!

Also, that first part number you provided (for the TRD .8mm) is actually a "superseded" number. It no longer pulls up anything in the Toyota system. If you search for that part number on teh interwebz, it will pull up the Initial D fan boi prices ($80+) most of the time, whereas with the part numbers I posted you can get it for like $42+ shipping :)

Its not a painting from the 1500's. You can find it on your own.

I know one part of this is not accurate (no .5mm TRD gasket), and I believe the thickness you stated for the 7AFE is also wrong. I have the understanding that the 7AFE gasket is .7mm thick.

The TRD .5mm gasket is 11115-AE824, list price on both the .8, and the .5 are 6000 yen, or about $59.00

that could be true i dont know for sure. i do know the 7afe is a mls and it is a thin gasket and i think it has 3 layers? not too sure. i was under the impression it was .5 but iv been wrong before and i will probably be wrong again lol maybe with the 3 gaskets put together are .7 thick? i read somewhere that it is like .4 or .5 per layer? again not too sure I did find this description of the 7afe gasket listed at .4mm http://cn.oemol.com/oem/en_oem_detail/43179/11115-16121/TOYOTA_CylinderGasket.html

I found these part numbers but they might be old numbers
