What else do you drive?
What else do you drive?
Hey everybody. I'm pretty new here ( I did browse this forum a few times over the years). I don't own a toyota but I am looking to buy one soon. I'm interested in what other cars/motorcycles/planes you all drive or are working on.
There are 3 cars that we have at my house.
First one is my dads 2006 BMW X3. It just recently hit 16,000 miles. My dad lives less than a mile from work. Nothing really special besides the fact that it has low miles, it is black, and has a lot of brake dust on the rims.
Second one is my mom's 2006 Honda Accord sedan. 4 cyl, Auto normal looking car. I drive that to school and work everyday since my mom rarely drives anymore.
SO YEAH, leave it to me to not have any pictures of the other cars, it's ok they are boring anyway.
So yeah, my car. 1996 Nissan 240sx. Bought it in 2011 (wow almost 2 years of me not really doing anything) with 186,000 miles, Auto and stock except for an aftermarket headunit. I was broke then so I didn't do anything except drive it around.
Day I bought it
Learned to do simple maintenance on the car and just drove it reliably for a little over a year.
Made acquaintances with the curb and fire hydrant during a late night/early morning uhhhh........adventure through the backroads.
Spent last summer getting it repaired and the last 6 months gathering parts.
Car is fully stripped and I just received it back today with all of the rust cut out and replaced with new metal. Started working on getting the old undercoat off and preparing to paint/ apply por15 (or por115).
You don't need to really include pictures or a long list of modifications. You can post what you like, just keep it reasonably sized. No point in posting " toyota sedan 100% stock" or take up half a page of just your car and every little thing done to it. I look forward to seeing what you guys have

All we have are 1980's Toyota Corollas......
My wife's Daily.... 1986 AE86 GT-S, fully loaded... electric window car.
My daily is a 1989 Corolla All-Trac sedan... with a tweaked "super duty" 4AFE
And my "toy" is a significantly tweaked (170hp 4AGE running through a J160 6 speed) 1983 AE71 sport coupe - aka "Surreptitious"

Lol. I love the car but can't take credit for it. Was trying to better tune cold start and idle via haltech today.

Re: What else do you drive?
I tend to go through dailies a lot, though i wont be able to anymore since I financed my current daily.
Current: 08 fit sport, stock with some mugen bits and jdm led tails. Great gas mileage getter!
before I picked up the fit this was my daily, still miss this car dearly.
and what I traded to get the 240, 200whp B18c ej6 hatch.

Re: What else do you drive?
best thing i've done for myself is get a daily. no corolla-headache will keep me up at night!
club4ag, i present to you, "black thing".
115xxx miles from original owner. 7afe Autotragic. 1993 model with the gold badges 8).
has A/C, power steering, RECLINABLE SEATS, working radio, working HEATER, and the drive doesn't break my back. it's quite nice.
I actually have a build thread for it (lol) over at TN.
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/130-7 ... hread.html
(does anyone know any other decent online communities for these things? looking for some input on getting rear disc brakes and upgrading suspension to AE92 stuff).

Is that a New Jersey inspection sticker on the windshield? Looks oddly familiar to a hatch I wanted to buy in PA that someone in NJ ended up snatching up.
Anyhow here's what I've got:
Just sold my old daily last month:

AE86: Here's my Hachiroku. 1985 Corolla GT-S. 5spd w/Factory LSD. OEM Silver Metallic. She's still a work in progress. Full JDM Zenki + Sprinter Tails etc (OEM Sideskirts not installed but on hand!) Gonna install the suspension stuff (chillen in my room!) and paint & body stuff by this summer. God willing.
SXE10: Here's my daily. 2003 Lexus IS300 Sportdesign. 5spd Manual Transmission. Graphite Grey Pearl. Aside from JDM Black Headlights, JDM Altezza Grille, and a SRT Intake w/Race ECU, its pretty much bone stock...Buuut....with today's Ga$ prices being as they are sky high this V6 beast is killing my budget. I had to get another daily....
ZN6: So I might as well get a 2013 Scion FR-S 6spd Manual Transmission. Whiteout. And I'm glad I did! Been only 2 wks she's still only got 140 miles on her but she's becoming a weekend car instead lol. Nevertheless, for the money, what a great car!
Then my Kuya liked the FR-S's whiteout color so much he bought himself a 2013 4RUNNER Limited 2wks ago in Blizzard Pearl. Power Everything. Top of the line stuff. Luv dis beast!
