Brian Crower 7AGE rods group buy

Postby yoshimitsuspeed » Sun Jul 27, 2014 10:33 am

I have decided to go ahead with this. I have sent in a 7A rod and have already committed to buying 10 sets regardless of how many get in on the pre purchase. Since I don't want to put up all that money I will be offering a pre purchase discount.

The rods are approx 12 weeks out right now so if you order before before November 1st I will do them for $440. After that they will be around $460

This rod is being made by Brian Crower specifically for Matrix Garage. It is also made specifically for 7AGE builds. Unlike the 7AFE rod it will have a floating wrist pin identical to the 4AGE. This means you will be able to run 4AGE pistons or order aftermarket pistons with floating wrist pins.
This does mean that these rods will not work with stock unmodified 7AFE pistons.

These rods will be equivelent to the Brian Crower Sportsman rods for the 4AGE. They will come with ARP 2000 hardware.

This is a pre buy. The rods will be available around the first of November. The price will be discounted during the pre buy and will be marked up to $460 as soon as they hit our shelfs. Order them now and save $20.

These are designed to work with floating wrist pins like all 20mm 4AGE pistons. These will not work with stock 7A pistons without modification. If you want to use these rods on a 7AFE or with 7AFE pistons it will be up to you to work out your own solution for pistons.

We can get you custom pistons that will work with these rods.

I just put the deposit down for these and I'd really like to get that money back to put towards other projects.
I have decided to take off another $10 off and offer a 5% discount on a future purchase over $100 for anyone who orders before sept 1st.
That's $30 off what I will be selling these for once they hit the shelves.

Just got in a new timing gear from Lithia Toyota and got it broached for 7AGEs and got it on the shelf. Now added as a product on the website.

I'm interested in this. Will you be able to provide a connecting rod/piston/bearing/crank gear kit like Manon Racing?

Going to be rebuilding my 7AGE soon and would like to know what's out there, buying local would be one of my priorities. Thanks.

I definitely can. I am slowly working on getting everything together right now and can get all the components but haven't yet put together any "kits".
These rods are designed to work with 4AGE pistons so if you get me details on your build such as target compression, cams etc I can try to suggest some shelf piston options, one of my designs or even tailor a piston specifically to your build.
I do broach the timing gears. They are listed on my site.
And I can definitely get bearings, hardware etc.
I should also have a 116 tooth timing belt available soon which allows you to run the thicker high volume 4AGE oil pump instead of the 7A pump.
