Also picked up something I've wanted before I even had the car, a Buddy Club Spec 2 catback.

I now have the full exhaust. I'm running a no name header with a resonator in place of the cat and the buddy club is just a resonated strait pipe.

Haven't posted in forever. Here's some recent pics. excuse the crap instagram quality
got rid of the lex and picked up a brz
Car is pretty much done just need a few minor things done to it. Putting carpet and bucket seats in it, building front coilovers and then destroying it.

Re: Nick's 1985 coupe build
Got tired of driving this thing on the stupid blown suspension so I finally spent a little bit of money to upgrade. This will be a world of difference considering the car was riding on stock suspension with the springs cut to the point that the car was just sitting on the top of the strut housing. I cut off the spring perch and took 40mm out of the strut housing and welded it back together. It's getting short stroke KYB shocks in place of the stock blown ones and will be getting ground control collars welded to the new strut housing as soon as they get here.
New vs old
Also picked up some new spares. Didn't notice how blurry this pic was

Coilovers done
Still need to lower the rear more but my tires are too big lol
new stupid nonfunctional ride height
Next on the list is adding a bunch of camber to the front and putting smaller tires on my spares so the rear can go lower
My inspiration...
Looks like trash and like it gets driven past its limit every day haha I love it. Hope my car never looks this beat but I do love how simple and stupidly low it is
