Shitty video of it finally timed and idling on its own at 1100

In good news, i have officially finished everything on my list and i am ready to go get tuned.

I forsee a problem with Driving this on the street, the turbo gets way too hot for my BMC and reservoir. Does anyone recommend either like aheatshield or Turbo Blanket? DO those things really work? My clearance is very very minimal and dont know my options.

Just got back from tuning a few hours ago. Just like I suspected, the turbo got too hot for my BMC Reservoir and made a pinhole on it, so now I got no brake haha, but we were still able to finish the session. As soon as I got home i saw the box for the Turbo Blanket sitting on my doorstep  if only it would have come in a day sooner I wouldnt have ran into this issue. But life goes on and we buy more parts for our cars!

Video of a pull to 4500 RPM
Image

Dyno sheets:
Image
Image

The car made
125WHP @ 5000RPM
147 WTQ @ 3600RPM

And after i opened up my exhaust cutout i made
149WHP@5000RPM
163WTQ @3500RPM

Turbo starts spooling at 2000RPM and reaches peak boost by 3250RPM

Thats a 25 HP and 16TQ increase from a cutout :D :D
These engines are rated at 125 Crank HP and 97 Crank Torque so my gains are over 25WHP++ and 70WTQ ++ from a t25 and some small internal bottom end work. Cant wait to break in the clutch and take it drifting.

On a sidenote, doubt anyone knows, but has anyone ever tried a master cylinder Reservoir relocation? Im trying to find anything but nothing pops up :(

Took the setup out to HTM this past weekend... thing performed like a charm
Image

Only problem i ran into was super super high oil temps. Like hitting 280*F
I guess new oil cooler setup it is! Other than that this thing pulls HARD but im afraid that it may have too much torque for me at the moment, I gotta learn to re-drive this car.

Impressive and patient build. Yes, there are few people who can extract mad amounts of power ( c?) from an engine that can. I myself turboed my old stock unopened bluetop to the tune of 204whp in ~1998 using a slightly used t3/t4.

So the engine from this build has now been passed on to another AE86. You can follow the build here:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16705

As far as whats going on with the hatch, i decided to restore it, and put all the interior back in, and daily it with a stock 4AGE, probly with bolt ons. Ill update as i restore the hatch more and more, but for the time being, im trying to fix the Coupe and this is collecting dust :(

Heres another update.. i finally started restoring this car, and found KOUKI velour interior for it. SUch a pain in the ass to find, it makes me regret ever selling mine for so cheap.

Rolling on supras for a few months cause I donated the Varrstoens to the Levin
You can see the OEM Bumper, Lip, Skirts, Mudflaps, TRD Wing, DMAX Roof Wing, and REINHARD exhaust here.. hot.

Not sure if ive posted this pic, but this is what i ended up with after i sold my interior..
Image

After a few months i pieced together some blue interior panels... All this stuff was thoroughly cleaned, no way it was this clean when i bought it
Luckily i scored some OEM floormats as well, ive never seen anyone else with them on their car.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/ ... 1oe79x.jpg

As you can see i still had alot of parts to gather up. (Door panels were Zenki GTS, and Rear seat and panels were Zenki SR5. But hey atleast it was all blue right?

Scored some more dirty Kouki Interior.. and got to cleaning.
