JDM RHD 1986 Toyota Sprinter Trueno for sale
Up for sale is a right hand drive 1986 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex. It is located in Copiague, New York. I personally imported this car from Japan, and it is a fully documented and FEDERALLY legal car, brought in under the "25 Year" law. The car is in absolutely mint condition, and has had a lot done to it. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (631) 774-7180. You can either call or send me a text, whatever is easier for you. I have separated everything into categories to make for easier reading.
Body:
-Completely RUST FREE. No rust on this car top or bottom.
-Fully repainted in original colors (color code 2T7). Entire car including engine compartment was resprayed. This was NOT a cheap respray.
-"Panda" paint color (same as Initial D movie car).
-"Kouki" body style.
-"Redline" style tail lights.
-Rear spoiler added.
-No trim pieces missing.
-No badges missing.
Engine/Drivetrain:
-JDM 4age 16V (MAP sensor, not MAF like USDM version) = MORE POWER!
-New timing belt.
-Runs perfectly, shifts perfectly. Just had air/fuel checked by Vinny Ten Racing, and was exactly what it should be.
-No leaks. None from engine, transmission, or diff.
-5 speed manual.
-Apexi intake.
-Lightened flywheel.
-Titanium headers with full stainless steel exhaust and muffler.
-LSD rear diff.
-New radiator and hoses.
-Polished stainless steel spark plug cover.
-Brand new NGK double platinum (OEM in Japan) spark plugs.
-New spark plug wires.
-Freshly changed oil with Mobil 1 fully synthetic 10w30 and new K&N oil filter.
-Transmission and Diff fluid also recently changed.
-Has Japanese battery (something simple but very cool).
Wheels and Brakes:
-REAL Watanabe rims (Rare).
-Rear disc brake conversion with slotted rotors on all four corners.
-Braided brake lines.
-Has factory jack (in perfect condition) and spare in trunk.
Suspension:
-Lowered with fully adjustable coilovers with camber plates on front, and brand new KYB AGX adjustable shocks on rear 4 link suspension.
-Cusco front and rear strut bars.
-Front and rear anti-roll bars.
-All rubber is perfect (no cracking).
Interior:
-Original "Trueno" stitched floor mats front and rear.
-Original seats with lumbar support pump (works) and adjustable side supports.
-Dash is completely crack free.
-Roll bar is cleanly installed (most people don't even notice it from outside the car).
-Aftermarket "Personal" brand steering wheel with red stitching.
-Everything works. No electrical issues whatsoever.
-Still has the Japanese registration and inspection stickers on the window.
This Trueno is really in mint condition, and is VERY popular at the car shows! At the 2014 East Coast Bash drifting event, this car was the main booth feature car. I know that the next owner will truly enjoy this car. The asking price is $20,000. I encourage you to call or text me any questions you may have, and please feel free to come and take a look at the car if you are interested. I have included links to some pictures as well as two links to youtube videos of the car.

Thank a lot shagymc! And Larrymak, I appreciate the offer, but I would need to get a little closer to the 20k asking price. If you'd like to ask any questions or come look at the car in person (since you're pretty close) feel free to text or call me whenever ((631) 774-7180) and I'd be more than happy to have you come see the car.

OP, I hope your true Kouki JDM AE86 goes to a great home.
Hopefully to a AE86 enthusiast that will take care of it, and not end up butchering it like all the other JDM 86's I've seen in the past.
One of the finest examples is this poor 86.....
It was at one point my inspiration for building my 2nd 86.
Recently I found out that the owner was parting it out.
a AE86 Angel, has died.
Good luck to you and to that JDM AE86, hopefully she goes to a museum.

Thanks for your post idreamofdrifting. I truly hope it goes to a good home. It's really sad to hear the owner ended up parting that beautiful example out. I have to say, I wouldn't mind if she ended up in a museum, but I think I'd feel better knowing she was going to someone else who will get to experience driving the car. The car really is a blast to drive, and when I pull up to a car show with it, I steal all of the attention away from the Ferraris and Lamborghinis! That's the really fun part!
