Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
If you come across any of the earlier style covers that used a distributor rather than coil packs, especially the Ralt style I'll take it. Even cracked or damaged ones I would be interested in.

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
Thanks Paul,
I'll be getting a firm quote on price and lead time on Wednesday. Will update then. At that point I try to make a decision on whether it's best to do a group buy or to turn the whole thing over to Hasselgren.
I feel like a group buy would be best for us as we only pay our share of the whole thing rather than a marked up retail product.
Will really depend on interest....

i have been spreading the word, ad have a couple interested people. once we can determine price and what style cam cover i can confirm numbers pretty smartly. just so u know my family lives in huntington beach so i would need to organise shipping to them. look foward to hearing some more info on these .

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
This run will be for the late style, not the early style.
If a 1st gen pops up I'll let you know. They're even harder to get than the late one...

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
I'm definitely interested in a valve cover also. More inclined towards the older model, but the newer also works. Please PM me for further details.
Thanks,
Elvin

I'm interested in an older style one if it pops up as well. Can put down a deposit if needed to show I'm a serious buyer. Let me know.

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
I got the quote from the foundry and while the actual unit price is very reasonable the initial tooling set up is very costly.
I will be getting quote next week from a CNC firm on billet versions of both the early & late type covers.

Re: 4AGE Atlantic Valve Cover
Guys,
This is now moving along pretty fast so before I potentially waste any more of the time of everyone I'm dealing with I need to firm up how many people are in.
Hasselgren is in for 5 which means we need 15 more people to make this happen.
I am ready to send out the later style 014 cover for 3D CAD modeling. This will be coming at alot of expense to me so I need to make sure it's viable. If it works out, I will then start on the early 008 style cover. I want to do one at a time because the reverse engineering scanning is coming in at approx. $1,980 +/- 10% per item scanned.
I also have the CNC mill standing by, waiting to start once the drawings are done.
I need reailstic numbers for this before going any further......
Billy.
