AE86, MUSIC, AND GOOD FOOD IS MY LIFE.

Postby knockoutcold » Thu May 08, 2014 1:23 am

GOOD DAY EVERYONE!
I am a returning member. MY CARRER IS: AD USAF F-15 TACTICAL AIRCRAFT MAINTAINER. Mechanic for a life trade. :D I had an account way back in '05-'06 time frame, back then there seemed to be a lot more people and parts running around also. But I created a new account now. I am currently on ae86 #3, and this is my last one (probably). I'm keeping it, not for sale! LOL! I have had several offers for it but I wont let it go and most people on this forum know why. I have pix of it but have not got around to uploading them yet. Besides a grey stock body, i have a fully rebuilt 4age w/ t50 tranny. no ITB's yet but will convert eventually. 1.5 diff. front coil overs w/ a bit of camber (need to re-adjust). slammed as slammed could be on 16" rims, too low for my taste tho. interior is ragged but planning on gutting most of it any ways. jl audio w/ 8 inch enclosed sub (super loud). sitting on some repainted orange enkei 92 16", the og paint was faded beyond belief. i got a t50 rebuild kit, a shift rebuild kit, and rear coilovers coming soon. T3 is awesome for street mods (if you disagree with this, let me know so i can adjust). my goal for the car is to keep it simple, make it as solid as possible, look good and never drift unless i have to. one day, maybe, it will see a track. other than that, pix will come soon and i love talking about cars and music and food! MAY YOUR TIRES ALWAYS TOUCH THE ROAD AND HAPPY TUNING!

HAHAHA im married to a chinese/irish cali girl who has an obsession with Toyotas (lucked out on that one). I also have a little one who loves to mess with all of daddies things, but at least I know he will have an unhealthy obsession over Toyotas also! lol

so I threw in the shifter rebuild kit from T3 into my stick. the stiffer shifting is such an improvement that it reduced the grinding in my transmission by 80%. just gotta rebuild the t50 now. my rear coil overs are going in this weekend, and waiting on my RCA's to get here so I can install those. hopefully the RCA's help since I deleted my front sway bar.
