I know it's been discuss many times but I want some feedback. The "search function" helped but not enough... Just a lot of suggestions... What I'm looking for is someone's feedback on the headers they purchased for their 4age 20v in their AE86.
So I'm in the process of installing a BT 4AGE 20v into my 86 and I want a high rise header (20v will be build). I had contacted John at JSPFAB a few times and so far no return calls or emails. I'm not sure what is going on... So with no response from him, I'm looking for other options. I will not go with OBX because I know they have fitment issues(experienced). I was looking at the CXRAcing and I'm curious about those. I notice the header is pretty close to the brake master cylinder and as the header goes down, it's very close to the inner apron. I want to know if it's actually touching it? SO any of you out there that bought a CXRacing header, give me your feedback.
I'm located in Minnesota and I checked with some of the local performance shop to see if I can get one custom made and they have NO experience with 4age engine nor AE86 (i'll keep checking, I'm sure one shop out there should be able to do it).
Money isn't a issue, it's trying to get the header that's a issue so feedback on cxracing headers would help.

Re: high rise header for 4age 20v
I'm not sure why you would shop between JSP and CX racing, one is designed by a professional fabricator who has a wealth of experience with 4AGE's and the other is made by copying a whole bunch of other peoples designs and mashing them all together not to mention the massive price difference between them. It comes down to this, do you want the best possible parts for making really good power with what you have or do you just want something that will look nice and go okay?

Re: high rise header for 4age 20v
It wouldn't had come down to this if JSP would simply respond back or pick up their phone. That's why it led to me to other options and my options are very narrow especially when you live in Minnesota (you wouldn't know about that, cause nostalgic cars here are considered winter beaters) I simply said, I want feed back from those who had experienced with CXracing. I had never heard of CXracing before that's why I'm asking for FEEDBACK. I'm no youngster looking for a "aww sick high rise header dude!" I'm a old timer looking for a header for my build. In any event, reading what you jot down is more then enough for me.. I'll look else where.
