The front bumper is held on by two bolts (either 17 or 19mm head) just inside of and below the turn signals. There are also four other bolts going through the frame rails behind the bumper and below the headlights. Wind the headlights up and remove the plastic panel underneath. The bolts are under there. Use a wrench on the underside of the frame rail.

The rear bumper is held on by four of the same size bolts threaded into the frame rails. Pull up the carpet and there are four rubber covers with the bolts underneath.

Hope this helps.

no, you shouldn't need the car jacked up to remove the bumpers.

but be careful of removing these bolts. they' might be seized on and will take a bit of muscle to remove them.

Start with the rear bumper. Here is how to locate the bolts:

1. Open your Hatch/Trunk
2. Remove the carpet
3. There are 4 black plastic caps covering 4 holes - Remove these
4. These are the 4 bolts to remove the bumper

Before undoing these bolts. Make sure you undo all the bumper bolts on the outside of the car. They should be on the sides of the car by the rear tires. If you look under the car, there are like 20 10mm bolts on the bumper - Dont remove these, these just keep the plastic painted cover over the metal beam that is your rear bumper!

For the front of the car its basically the same:

1. In the area where the hood latch, oil cooler, ac stuff resides. the bumper has 4 big bolts like the rear bumper. They're attached to the chassis of the car.

Good luck

Vic
