Take it to a shop and have them measure if it is true and inspect it for cracks. If it is true and has no cracks, resurface it and you should be good to go. I have one that looks similar and it was true and had no cracks. Slipping the clutch and clutch kicking causes this, btw.

resurfacing is about 30 to 50 bux. the machine shop can tell you if it is turnable or not. if it is turnable then the turning itself will true it up.

The seller from NorCal, I'm in SoCal, if the seller would clean it up I will get it then. if not I might get the F1 Racing one, I heard some ppl happy with them. Anybody have experience with them?

I paid 2000yen (~$20) for my burnt Toda flywheel, so I wasn't too worried whether it was perfectly true or not. If you are getting it cheap, it may be worth the risk. Personally, I wouldn't buy it sight-unseen unless is was around the price I paid for mine. If it is cracked or warped, it's a door stop. I have an F1 flywheel in my other car and it is fine. It seems to be a Toda knockoff, but it is a quality part. I think I paid around $180 for that one.

I wouldn't trust it, steel can become very brittle if it's been super heated like that flywheel obviously has. If you have seen a flywheel come through a bellhousing and trans tunnel when they shatter it isn't pretty...

IMO, he's a crack smoker trying to sell that flywheel for so much. I'd get the F1 flywheel and be done with it.
