Don't ask me. I told James about that day and he said it's fine. As a dad himself, he wants to spend father's day like the way it's suppose to be celebrated for him........having a BBQ meet and spending time with his buds. This wasn't my idea.

Looks like I have more guys going with me...so far:
5 Starlets,
3 Mangos including mine,
1 AE86,
1 JDM Celica LB (not 100% sure yet),
1 82 Corolla (winner at this years Toyotafest).
We will be meeting at a buddies house and we will be rolling in together after we buy some food to contribute to the meet.
Looks like it's going to be a good weekend.

I would like to thank those who came to our meet despite the conflict on the date since it was Father's day. It was nice to see fathers that brought their families with them. They were there to support their Dad's passion for cars. I would also like to thank those who brought in dishes for our potluck. You know who you are!! Thanks to big Mike and his crew to dropping by and also those who came in a little later. There was one dude that came all the way from San Diego in his AE86 Corolla. Now that's hard core!!

Yup, that's me in the red tank top and that's my red rotary powered TE27. It was great to finally put a face to the screen names from this forum. The BBQ pork was excellent! I wish I had some right now. Too bad my buds and I missed the late comers. Maybe next year the meet would not fall on a holiday or a special occasion so we could stay longer. Sorry about the loud noise from my car I actually got pulled over on the 57 by CHP for speeding, but he let me off the hook and even took a personal photo of my car on his cell phone. I told him I was coming from a father’s day celebration for old school Toyota owners

Just a heads up for all of you, we will have another Chino Hills meet around late September or mid-October. It will be the "End of Summer" meet. Same location too. I will post it here before that due date. Let's see if James can make another batch of them uber-licious BBQ in a stick.

I will definitely bring my RHD TE27 ("L'MANGO") at the next meet. My rotary Levin cost me over $200.00 in C16 gas driving it to and from the event this past weekend...hahaha!
