Thanks man, that was my past ae92, right now trying to get a hold of one and do the front end levin conversion with the supercharged hood :D :D :D
BTW, did you use stock sliders to fit those recaros?

No it was a long and painful experience making my own rails lol, i hacked up the dc2 rails and welded some stuff on. Welding an inch away from my carpet was pretty shady but it turned out fine, and i improved my technique quite a bit too, second time welding. First was to make the alternator bracket pictured above

Nice i love the levin front AE92 but it's quite rare here to get those parts at any importers

videos of last years last pdx. the 1st one is a civic's point of view.
sorry for the bad shooting. i need to invest in a go pro, but i cant justify that money since i can go for better parts.

ill try to get some footages of this year's events. im still relearning how to drive the car since the 3sge has way more hp than the stock 16v 4age. this really made the braking point change. this year i added a qauife atb too, so i should gain quite a bit of time on corner exit.

the most important thing was it was a blast to drive, comming from autocrossing this got me so into it at times it felt like i was one with the car.

warmed up for a bit on this one.

funny you say i'm missing the S/C hood. mine was an original S/C hood before i deleted the hood scoop cause of no FI. i feel the hood should only be used on a car that has boost and since i was going NA.....

heres what it looked like from before i repainted it and hood scoop delete. although i did leave the area where the scoop is so if some day i went with a turbo or supercharged setup i can put it back on.

I think the white car looks perfect scoopless/spoilerless with the charge speed lip and aero mirrors...way better without the scoop and stock mirrors.

Here is mine.

The AE runs really strong does anyone know where I can get more info on what I can do to the thing. Im thinking about maybe doing a rally cross or something. Still thinking. I might occasionally track it.
The car is basically bone stock right now, but Im probably going to end up running coilovers.
Does anyone know where I can get headers, and an exhaust for this thing?

Any info would help. I wish there was a forum dedicated to this car.....

Sadly one of the best write up pages for the ae92gts was taken down, a few months ago. But moving on. These cars stock, have a lot body roll, so yeah coils should be!, regarding exhaust i ran mines with hks sport exhaust, stock headers. I have heard that switching to aftermarket headers will result in the loose of low end( someone correct me if i am wrong). But pacesetter makes them for the ae92

had a driving event a month ago, thought i'd post some of the pics that were taken by an unknown camera guy.

i agree that the ae92 stock has a very soft suspension as do most the cars at the time. remember during that era respectable skid pad results were around .85g or so, nowadays any car can do that.

btw sorry for posting so many pics of the levin. i guess this really shows that there is a shortage of people tuning these cars nowadays. but if your looking for more info on tuning the 92 theres a 6th gen corolla section in toyotanation.com it has the majority of the usdm members, twincam.org has good info also, but toyotanation is probabally the one thats the most active.

nice ae92 dabes. i love mine i won't get rid of it unless i total it. ae90tuner what is that header in your old red car? it sure doesnt look stock

As for the exhaust i would just get a custom one made, i don't think there are many options available unless you want to pay shipping to north america. the stock cat space is a good place for a resonator/"pre-muffler" if you want to straight pipe the car but keep it quiet(ish)

header on the 20v is the HKS race header. the thing really is a piece of art.

^ 16x8 +0 in front 16x8 +25 in the back. it has slight torque steer, but isnt so bad from the 0 offset. the wider front track than rear helps the car be more stable and it does not understeer like a normal FWD does. well that and some suspension magic. the LSD also helps quite a bit in tucking in the car during the apex.
