p/s knuckles + spacer = more angle.
that's what I run on mine.
So the ps knuckles alone provide more angle than the manual knuckles with 25 mm spacers? I don't mind having less angle; I'm just curious what the difference is.

@Deuce
yes the p/s knuckle is shorter then the manual knuckles.
that why lot of Japanese drivers switch over to the p/s knuckle for more angle.
lot them even cut the p/s knuckle for even more angle.
c's garage in new zealand were making extended lca and playing around with cutting the knuckles and what not...
Shinji at Hey Man! had video on youtube that showed him cutting the p/s knuckles and shortening it to get more angle.
He helped daigo mod his knuckles on his chaser and mark ii about 5 years ago. just before he on his d1 championship.
this applies to every other cars.
spacer + shorter knuckles = more angle.

Re: ------------------REAL DRIFTER THREAD-------------------
I realize that. I'm not trying to get more angle, actually the opposite. I switched to a less aggressive wheel/tire setup so the extra angle ps knuckles provide is useless to me, plus I don't really drift. I want to switch back to manual knuckles for better steering feel but I still want some extra lock, just less than what the ps knuckles provide. That's why I'm curious about the difference between standard ps knuckles (no spacers) compared manual knuckles with a 25mm rack spacer.

Re: ------------------REAL DRIFTER THREAD-------------------
running manual rack with no spacer and p/s knuckles to manula rack with manual knuckles with spacer will have the same steering feel
but running manual knuckles will probably give you less angle...

Re: ------------------REAL DRIFTER THREAD-------------------
Why would that be? My understanding is that the rack spacer(s) just lengthen the travel of the rack without having an affect on steering effort and feel, while shorter knuckles provide less leverage which does have an affect on steering effort/feel. Perhaps moving the inner tie rods out on each side from their stock locations has a similar affect on leverage or geometry?
The manual knuckles will provide less steering angle than power knuckles on a manual rack with no other mods.
