Put in the new rear end with KAAZ 2 Way and factory gears. So much better than the OEM LSD and 4.77s in almost every way.

Put the brake handle back in, reinstalled the battery, added more gas to the tank, fixed the fuel leak, and then:

Have fuel pressure and fuel. Going to check for spark on all cylinders, then rebuild the carbs. Thumbs down.

Geez carbd7age, how long was your car sitting? & I see the Camry's finally got a new batt..

Well this is what I did to my car today..installed my DIY rear links finally! Only to discover a bad vibration while driving it around which got worser, led to a bad u-joint that's not serviceable..hmmm what else...oh' attempts were made to remove some sun dried bird crap on my hood that won't seem to come off..umm,,yeah that's it for now

Man I gotta save up for one of those killer one piece DS, there's no other choice

Yeah I took it to work for a battery, it was pouring outside and I was going to have to swap the battery in the rain? Ain't nobody got time for that. Corolla has been sitting a minute, I'll probably rebuild them anyways, I found Mikuni kits for $27/each online for the 44's, and that'll give me a chance to make proper linkage. Apparently Weber DCOE linkage works with Mikuni carbs, who knew?

Its sure the hell better not! Since i'm gonna pay good money for one!
But the + side is... it's rebuildable, stronger & it claims to be already balanced..
Nothing I can do to fix my two piece, I may as well throw the damn thing away!

And i do remember reading a thread about vibration issues with the one peice over in the old club4ag tech forum, but all that got wiped clean which was really sad...

You can search the topic for other sites discussing the topic, but I also recall reading that the pinion angle on a single piece DS can cause unwanted vibrations, even from reputable companies. It doesnt appear to be the shafts fault, but the angle.

No prob. I looked into it as I wanted to lighten the driveline as well, but I had found numerous threads like that one, which discouraged me from exploring more into it. Im not saying its not doable, but appears that you have to get just the correct pinion angle to get it right. Seems like a lot of trial and error, and a lot of time involved adjusting and driving.

Im looking to lighten up the clutch assembly a bit for better throttle response without going overboard.

Installed T3 NRCAs, then put my flat steelies back on and shipped out my Hayashi wheels. They're going to a good home and making way for some SSRs that need a good home.
