Do you just paint over the fresh white paint..? or how do you prepare it..

Generally - tape the whole car off after stripping all the loose parts, primer, base coat (white), tape the whole car off again for the panda pattern, spray the black, remove secondary tape job, spray clear.

Then the usual.wet sanding and buffing.

If you're using spray paint you can just go to town for the most part despite needing all the same prep.

2 part automotive paint has specific time windows and schedules to follow for the follow up coats and clear.

In either case prep work is 90% of the job, the rest is keeping dust off wet paint and swearing about how much you hate sanding...

Ton of great tutorials on the web and youtube for the actual process though.

Not to mention right above this thread is one by Evo with an entire youtube series on 86 bodywork...
