I have recently acquired a corolla block and head. The head is not for sale but the crankshaft, pistons and conrods are all for sale.
I would prefer these go together. They were removed from a car that had done 85k miles and they are all in excellent condition.
I will post up pictures later on when I get home. The pistons have been cleaned and have come up like new!
No bearing wear on crank at all.
Please bear in mind this is the 40 mm crankshaft with the smaller rods.
Make me a respectable offer.
Cheers

Those look like the 10-1 comp pistons. Too bad the shipping kills the deal for me.
One shot, one kill.

I was just thinking the same thing, that those must be the 10.1:1 pistons.

They are out of a 85' corolla so surely they are 9.4:1?

Sorry can this advert be deleted until I decide what to do with these.
These pistons should have featured in the MR2 originally me thinks instead of the low comp pistons!

What the engine came out of makes no difference really, unless you know absolutely that it was original. Most of our cars these days are mix and match.
One shot, one kill.

Re: 40mm crank, pistons, rods
Those are indeed 10:1 4AGE pistons (9.4:1 engines are actually 4AGEC engines - "C" stands for catalyst equipped ) These pistons were in some areas in Europe, and in Singapore, where no cats were required. 4AGEC TVIS 9.4:1engines make 112-115hp, smallport makes 130hp, the Singapore, and some areas of Europe TVIS 10:1 piston versions are alleged to make 125hp

Funny how they reduce the efficiency of combustion to improve emissions. Things are getting better though.
