Who was the Watanabe Dealer here

Postby Token Blk Guy » Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:32 am

Who was the individual up here who was the dealer for these wheels? I didnt see his thread migrate over here from when the original thread was lost when the site went down. Im looking for a set of these for my Supra in this color.

Does anyone know of any dealers, shops, reps in NorCal, Bay Area i could get these from? I have been told LA may be my best bet. Im not really trying to go down there if I dont have too.

Thanks
Evan

You're probably talking about Kiyo. I think he's still the distributor for the US. I will PM you his contact info.

Kiyo hit me back already and was really helpful with all the questions I asked. To many choices on colors and styles but i think i narrowed it down to 2. Too bad i know these motherfuckers are going to cost me an arm and a leg. ALL good tho this afghanistan combat pay is taking care of them :P

i would be extremely careful if you order from this dealer. I ordered mine in the old thread over a year ago ( feb 2012) and im still waiting on my wheels. Every time i talk to the guy its just setback after setback. Not saying that it could be a scam, but BE CAREFUL!

Can you just get your money back? if its been a year to me that is just unacceptable he was telling me lead time for the magnesium wheels are 5.5 months due to back orders and the guy who molds and cuts the wheels was out of work for a while due to illness and being in the hospital. The regualr wheels should be 3 months or co. if he is the american distributor for the last 12 years i would assume he would be part of the BBB, no?

Fiveten so I should have no worries handing 3K over to him for wheels and accessories? Now you guys have me concerned since this is my hard earned money.

He has been very helpful to me and answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. He hasnt indicated to me that he is shady or unprofessional up to this point in the transaction.

I actually spoke to Kiyo about what was said here and he assured me he didnt/doesnt do biz like that. He explained what happened when there was a mix up. I have been speaking with him pretty much everyday for the last 2 weeks( sinc this thread was started) in regards to my order so I feel comfortable ordering. I actually submitted payment today. Ill be in LA for a few days when they are estimated to arrive so im going to go and personally pick them up from him before I head back to Sac.

Looking forward to getting these wheels for my MA61!!
