20v distributor blanking cover

are there any one/place stateside that make these covers. this would be the cover that blocks the opening where distributor goes if one would like to go distributorless. would like to purchase one. thank you

i know you said in the US but i think this guy ships here - http://www.sq-engineering.com/upgrade-p ... cover.html AUD exchange rate is heavily favorable for us currently too. might be worth it to ship.

I am pretty sure you can get all the SQ Engineering parts through Battle Garage now.

I do have a prototype. I was waiting to hear back from a customer to make sure it fit as I didn't have access to my car at the time. Now if I could just remember who that was so I can check in with them lol.

I was assuming he just wanted the blanking cap to replace the stock cap but yeah if the op wants to get rid of it altogether I could make what you have there real easy.

That looks sweet. Only question with is, with doing cops will there no longer be a need for the distributor and/or acknowledgement from the ecu

If you went aftermarket engine management with something like a crank trigger wheel you wouldn't need the dizzy at all. In which case you could remove it and use a plug like Billy_Andrea's. If you are using the stock ECU then you will need the stock dizzy. Or some other setup that perfectly emulated it which would be more trouble than it was worth. To use with the stock ECU and COPs you still need the sensors in the bottom of the dizzy. In which case you need a blanking cover that replaces the cap.
