i need coilover advice

What mad_86 said will be the easiest option. That way generally offers shock height adjustment and rear spring collars so you can really dial in the ride height. However, they're stiff as hell, and more geared for drifting than anything else. To be frank they suck on the street.

I like a diy front coilover with separate rear spring and shock, but it's more for the enthusiast that likes to tinker with stuff. This way you can pick your springs, shocks, camber plates, and front upper hats (and swap them all easily in the future with other parts if wanted). One generally doesn't really get much height adjustment (if any) with this type of setup, and it's much trickier to dial in, but it can be very rewarding. Don't expect to get it perfect on your first try.

for that price range seeing as ive been there before i would go with Megan racing or cx racing ive had both and they are the exact same. they have okay valveing i think they offer 6k front 8k rear that gives the car a sporty feel but allows a good ride. you can find them on amazon well the last set i bought you could but that was for a s13. another thing if your new to dealing with coilovers get the ones that have the spindles it makes it a lot easier for the install.

Megans/BC's are crap. For the money you could get Fortune Auto coils which just came out, are properly valved for our cars, and made in America too. They ride amazing and go plenty low.

What I didn't know fortune auto made 86 coils now!!!
I said Megan v2 since there not for racing and pretty soft plus they can get real low, so he has that option

Damn just searched and they offer the OEM 2 piece rear coilover setup AND a true one peice design.

It's really cool that those are made in the USA. Service and custom valving should be a breeze. However, I'm disappointed that they're using the cookie cutter 8/6k rates for their 'street' coilover. I guess they probably figure it would sell best. The track version has the same spring rates....

Another alternative is to get swift springs (or whatever springs you crave) and pair it up with adjustable shocks. The springs won't get you to #stancenation low but it will give you enough low to pass the shoe test (see Mighty Car Mods if you don't know about it). That way, you don't risk it on cheap coilovers
