I was looking at a those
There are like 400$ or so plus shipping
I just feel weird about the springs length
And I would like to run 10k springs, and switch off when I need to, I don't think they offer that

10k springs in the rear of an 86? Why dont you just weld a metal rod in there..

It's not a street car
And the whole reason for this is to have the ability to switch springs when needed

Then why worry about the length of the springs on mcn sport units? They appear to just be universal 2.25" coilover springs. Not that the longer springs matter anyway.

I already have a few s13 swift coilovers springs
Would I be able to make them work on the mcn rears?

MCN sport uses a 1.9" spring in the rear to avoid needing a huge stupid top hat. You can replace springs with other brands like swift and eibach if you want, they make this size..

still baffled at the 10k rear rate, track car or not. Our cars are too light to need that, regardless of the setup. 5 or 6k rears are what most serious track cars are running.. My car is a full tune, caged, track-only car and I run 8k/5k

Yea I forgot swift does that
I just wanted to see how it feels since I read somewhere that the cby 86 runs 12k/10k

That's entirely possible. But that car is also running 10"+ slicks.
