I've got to ask, not because I could afford them, but out of curiosity. (And maybe someone else with the cash is wondering.) The crank & rods, would a 4A block need to be notched to clear the throw of the rods? And what wrist pin size are the rods? I'm guessing they're not 20mm wrist pins, therefore specialized / custom pistons are needed?

Yes, I believe a small relief is needed. The same is true of the dry sump pan but this one is already done.
Regarding the wrist pins, I'll have to check tomorrow. The pistons are easily available from Hasselgren for about $700

Thanks for checking. Since I'm keeping the car I will also be keeping the parts to upgrade the engine over the summer.
