You aren't going to find a whole lot of info here on c4ag for the sr20 swap. Lots of good people here with good info on the chassis and 4ag powerplant. Doing a swap like the sr20 (or KA as I'm doing) you have to split your time between here and S-Chassis forums. These guys have the expertise on the body and the s-chassis guys have the engine knowledge
here is a good thread on Zilvia for the sr20 swap http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=410133 lots of good info in there. If you or anyone else is considering the swap that thread is a great starting point.
Re: sr20 to ae86 swap..
Ignor the haters. THough if you search there is a bunch of info on here and Zilvia. If toyota made a better power plant that could slap in easy everyone would use it, but the sr20det a good swap for bigger power.
biggest problem is dealing with the wiring and the downpipes clearance of the steering rack. Rearend u can keep the GTS if its built and ur not modding or turning up the boost on the sr20det... but they why even put that motor in. SO if your going over 220hp I would swap to a MA46/47 rearend or a ford 8.8, and you will need a custom driveshaft made to fit your motor and rearend.

X2 on the ford 8.8" as they are plentiful, lots of aftermarket parts & gear ratio options and you just have to cut about 3" off of the drivers side tube, weld it back together and run a passenger side axle in it. When they are shortened and run a passenger side axle in both sides the rear end is about 1" wider than the stock rear end.
