How does a larger ARB effect spring weights?

I am currently running a complete set of springs called Dow Max, which i believe are 3.5kg front and 2.5kg rears with KYB shocks. I was planning to change to the norm 8kg and 6kg which alot of ppl are running. After much research and speaking to suspension engineer and ppl who actually run this setup in their 86, they said that it is too harsh and a lighter kg is more suitable. My current setup is really nice on the roads. My car is a weekend toy and occasional drift.

I have read that instead of changing to a higher kg springs, it is better to change to a larger ARB (front and rear) and that it effects the kg of springs. Can someone explain to me, how this works? I have OEM Front and rear ARB atm. If i change to say to a larger ARB such as TRD, Cusco, Tanabe etc etc, how will this effect the spring weights. Also, driving wise, i assume their will be less body roll. Can ppl, who have changed to larger ARB comment on this and give feedback.

BTW, what is the largest ARB, i can buy right now and i also have some used RSR springs in my garage. Does anyone know the kg of these springs.

I appreciate the feedback. Thankyou.
