hub/rotors bolts HELP!

Postby ApeterE » Wed Oct 09, 2013 2:36 pm

My car got stolen the other night that had all my front end wheel ae86 parts in it. Meaning the rotors hubs calipers and entire strut with shock and spring, basically my whole front wheel assembly on both sides. Im getting them all replaced except the bolts were in my toolbox which was in the car that was stolen.

The bolts i need are
-the 4 bolts that connect the rotor to the hub together
-the 4 bolts that connect the mounting plate to the spindle

in order to replace these bolts i need to know the size and thread pitch of these bolts. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Rotor to hub are 10mm long x 1.25mm pitch at a guess 25mm long
Mounting plate bolts are 10mm long x 1.25mm pitch at a guess 20mm long

I'm fairly sure the bolts required are a high tensile type and you can get the correct bolts from Toyota.
I wouldn't take the risk of a generic bolt.

'I wouldn't take the risk of a generic bolt.'
That's X2 if you don't know anything about bolts & their grading system.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but the owners manual has all of the grading systems for all the bolts on the car. I don't have a manual in front of me but check it out.

thank you all sorry i was slow to reply. All this is advice is great. Much appreciated.

By the way way, does anyone know how i can get my hands on a front drivers side caliper mounting bracket? I'm looking for ae86 part outs but other than that, does anyone know if there other cars using the same caliper mounts? (the circular bracket that bolts onto the spindle)

Thanks again!

Apparently some say it's the rotor heat shield

The oem dust shield and caliper bracket are one and the same (dual purpose part). I also posted in your wtb thread.
