Just a question for those who have installed them. I have been thinking about getting a set of these for a while now, but never actually got around to purchasing them. Driving around yesterday to stretch her legs, I approached a lot entrance, and had major bump steer (manual rack obviously) and it bothered me. Do the RCAs work really well at mitigating this?
TIA
How well do T3 RCA's work for bumpsteer?

It depends what ride height you run. If you're running at uncut TRD race spring height, they get rid of most of the bump steer.

I've had them on my car ever since I lowered it and haven't experienced much if any bumpsteer.

WAG
AE86? Is it unmodified other then PS? What is obvious?
I don't think that anyone will say the stock setup has minor bump steer, or that anyone will say that any RCA was ever installed to cure bump steer even as an afterthought..

Re: How well do T3 RCA's work for bumpsteer?
You may be right that it is steering kickback vs bump steer. The obstacle did not steer the car in a different direction, the wheel spun and I was tuning into a commercial lot, and spun in my hands but I usually have a firm grip on the wheel for these reasons.
The car is fairly modded from the ground up, but as for suspension and steering is concerned, just a manual rack, swap bars, stock control arms and bushings and Tein Coil Overs. (It is Junior Asprer's heavens gate ae86)
I got the RCA's this weekend, so I hope to install them soon to see if there is any noticeable difference in steering feel and kick back.

Re: How well do T3 RCA's work for bumpsteer?
Really depends on what sort of ride height you're running. I'm roughly 80mm at the chassis rails and I find the T3 RCA's aren't long enough for me to get the LCA on the angle I would like. I'm going to be making some 50-60mm ones up to replace them.

Thanks for the details.
On another note, when I go to install the RCA's, what ft/lbs should I torque the bolts down to? I havent seen any specs posted.
