Which is better? Lowering spring or coilovers? and anyone here tried yellow speed coilovers? how was it? any reviews? thanks!

What are you going to do with your car? Drive on the street? Race track only? Drift, drag, auto cross, rally? That's like asking what's the best weight of oil? Kinda need to have more information.

I'm not familiar with yellow speed, but I've come to realize its not ALL about the name. I've used springs from different brands that performed well, and others that were the same brand and part #, but were bought a few months apart and are clearly made by a different company. What is important, is that you (at the very least) know the spring rates. Suspension setup is different for every single person and how they drive so please list what you want to achieve with your car. With my car, Ill gladly sacrifice ride quality for better performance and control. Do you want better performance or better looks? They're not always the same

Adjustable coilover spring is the answer. Does not matter if its for street, drag, roadrace, rally or slalom....

For me, lowering springs with aftermarket struts give the best performance out the box...bolt on and go (after an alignment). For that pimp factor, drop it to the floor with coilovers and have every big-titted chick NEVER want to ride with you again. Once you can dial in your own suspension, get fully adjustable for $1,500+

If you want a sporty feeling dd'er you may want to consider megan springs - or another long stroke spring - and tokico blue shocks. (Throws flame suit on.) That's what I have and it's a VERY good compromise for a road car, and the setup is dirt cheap. They do lack performance at the very limit, but who really cares on the street. Adapt. They probably wouldn't perform great on a track, but I haven't tried it.

There you go. If you want a kinda sporty DD suspension set up, go this route. Cheap n cheerful.
