16v 4age idle problem

Recently I took my 4age apart because it was revving weirdly, changed the gaskets, got the head checked/milled, etc. Now I have put it back together and I'm having trouble getting it to run properly. When I can get it to start, it will die unless I give it some throttle. If I dont give it any throttle, it will start, then die after a second or two. I am going to check the timing again tomorrow, and check the tension of the timing belt cause I think I have it too tight.

Any other ideas of what could be wrong?

This is often a sign of an intake leak so big that the AFM isn't staying open enough causing the fuel pump to cut out.
Make sure all clamps and hoses are tight. Make sure the AFM is sitting level and hooked up properly. You could also try jumping the FP pin in the diagnostic connector.

Still nothing. I've checked all the hoses but they didn't change anything. How do you jump the connector? I've seriously looked on Google for half an hour and I can't even find a straight answer on where its even located

Its definitely something to do with the fuel. My dad can spray choke cleaner in the intake and it will run

Nevermind, It was a little bit timing problem and a bad ground. Problem solved.
