supra rear end brakes

Postby Hyrev86 » Thu Apr 11, 2013 1:34 am

So i got a celica supra rear end on my gts, i believe its the 79-81 model, and i was wondering if its possible to use the gts calipers on the rear end. Finding celica supra calipers and really hard to find.
Thanks

I'm almost sure they won't work. The calipers are completely different. For examples, the GTS is a push piston, whereas the celica supra is a turn piston caliper.

I also feels that it didn't work. According to my knowledge they both are different from each others. The example which is suggested by you is completely right.

It works, you just need to slot a mounting hole.

If I remember correct from my conversion (which was a while ago), the calipers themselves have a slightly different bolt spacing... I will try to remember to look at them when I am working on the car this weekend since I will have it up in the air with the wheels off.
