Ok so I have a 1985 SR5. I am just finishing up installing a SR20det motor into it.... I am concerned the fuel lines from the tank maybe too small, and read a little about it possible being a issue. Since the 4ac was originally carburated...
Anyone who has done a SR20DET, 1UZFE, 3sgte etc swap that uses more fuel. did you swap the fuel lines from the gas tanK? or did it run? what suggestions would you have, concerns, issues u ran into etc?
I need some help, so please advice warmly welcomed.

My brother and I both have SR swaps with the stock sr5 lines, works just fine. MY friend also had a S2000 motor swap and had sr5 lines, again no issues. I would assume that under higher HP builds (300+) you would upgrade the lines, but in my experience the stock ones are good to go with a mild swap.

Sweet thanks you so much for the info!!! I really appreciate it!! I was a little worried after hearing mixed oppinions. My SR20DET is all stock for now expect for Brian Crower 268 cams. I will later on down the road be upgrading the turbo injectors and MAF with a tune. but thats way later.

I really dont think the diamete of the fuel lines have anything to do with how much fuel you get to ur engine. It's about about the presure delivery that you have to worry about if you end up starving ur engine of fuel. So to fix that you would just have to change out ur fuel pump for a pump that flows more fuel through the system. Just a FYI.
