***Aftermarket Fuel Gauges***

Postby Skizzup » Sun Mar 17, 2013 11:57 am

anyone have experience with an after market fuel gauge (stack/autometer/speedhut?)

my gas gauge has been out, and im going to convert to a custom cluster. rather than rely on my trip odometer, i'd like to have a functioning aftermarket gas gauge.

any experience would be helpful.

thanks

I have the same thing planned. I have a bunch of AutoMeter Pro Comp gauges, so naturally that's what I'll get. As far as I can figure, there are a couple different universal level senders that you have to match to the gauge. GM gauges are 0 ohm empty and 90 ohm full, then some are opposition, some are 120 or something weird. The most common I've found are the GM 0-90.
