Wanting to compete!

Postby Zenki85 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 7:46 pm

So finishing school in like 3 years. I've had my rolla for about a year. Yes I plan to keep her and make her into a track car.
So club I love opinions especially since many of you have done swaps tried different engines and have experience with the engine. So I hope you guys have the time to input a real good engine input. I want to compete it in the end. And of course every drifters dream I want it kind of reliable lol if you know what I mean.

So if you've done a swap and what not put it down with info.

Thank you!!

Reliable like a daily driver, or reliable like driving it to the track and not needing to call AAA to get it home?

Compete in what? All competition motorsports have rules around classing, so you need to build your car to the rules if you want to be competitive. Just randomly doing mods will cost you a lot more and can put you in a class where you have no hope of being competitive. If you just want to do track events that are not actual competition, you can do whatever you want, but you'll probably have the most fun if you have a few buddies to run with. In that case, you're best off building your car so that your on-track performance is roughly equal to your buddies. That way, you'll always have someone to play around with on track.
