USA ae86 gts steering rack in JDM ae86

I am from chile, here is normally import JDM cars.

here is not allowed to drive with the steering wheel on the right, which is usually done is to change the steering wheel to the left.

Here is not many ae86 jdm.

A few days ago bought in Japan a ae86 with RHD obviously. What I have to do now is to change everything to the left ....

My question is ... The ae86 steering rack (usa) will be the same as the ae86 (JDM)?

any idea?

no the RHD rack is a mirror image of the LHD rack you will also need the cross member and the fire wall. you might need more too. wiring will be an issue as well.

Yes, obviously I need the wiring.
What they do here is to install the steering rack that most closely resembles, do not want that. I want to install the steering rack ae86 original, in this case the USA ae86.

I might have a problem with that?

You would need to modify the crossmember, or get an LHD crossmember (USA or other country).
