note: the problem described below has only happened once in 5 years of ownership. and this happened after a rainy day.

my car (sr5 w/gts swap) started up and ran fine. but when i stopped to get gas, it wouldn’t restart (but would crank). and after a couple more attempts, there was no power at all. no lights, no radio.

with help from a tow truck guy, the car was able to start by jumpstarting it. when i got home i shut the car down and tried to restart it but got no power (no lights, no radio).
i brought the battery to get checked, tech said it was good. this was just a quick check with a battery tester not a recharge.

when i re-installed the battery, i got power and the car starts.

any thoughts to why i’m getting intermittent no power?

Sounds like you just had a bad battery connection. I would play it safe and go back and clean both battery terminals and clamps plus the grounding connection to the chassis. davew7
