You can run the stock silvertop bottom end with the stock 16v head. The ST pistons are junk though when paired with the head, valve reliefs are way off etc etc. It's called a 1620 engine. Just a heads up, you can get high comp 16v pistons from rockauto for $84 for the set of four. Built a motor a few months ago like that. ST bottom end, Highcomp pistons, Low comp head w/ Low comp cams.

1991 Corolla GTS... should get you the correct piston listings... the only one I saw I'm sure are high comp pistons are - DNJ ENGINE COMPONENTS Part # P927. Check your block BEFORE you order.... your block MAY need to be overbored, so buying standard bore pistons wont help you........ they do offer 2 overbore sizes... .020" is 1/2mm oversize, .040" is 1mm oversize
