Was wondering if anyone can highly recommend a clutch kit that includes a lightweight moly flywheel around 10lbs. Nothing too light, but would like something lighter than stock to rev quicker but not drop off too quick. Looked at Toda but theyre too pricey. Dont know anything about the ones on eBay. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That is a great deal, but I'm not looking for a three puck disc. A full face carbon Kevlar with a light flywheel would suit me nice.

Also looking for suggestions on a full face or 5-6 puck clutch that has positive engagement, but isnt too grippy that it shocks the drive line every time its engaged that will mate with a lightened flywheel. I dont know junk from quality (aside from the obvious expensive Custco and the like) so im asking for advise as to what to get.

I have been looking at those as they seem very abundant and affordable. Was it prone to clutch chatter and gearlash? I am looking for a light enough flywheel to allow for quicker revs and reduction of rotational mass (noticeable) without introducing chatter.

I have an exedy stage 2 and an F1 10lb. Works very well.

I probably clutch kicked mine more than any other corolla dude has the balls to and i never had an issue..

I have the Toda 3.7kg flywheel with stock pressure plate and clutch. revs awesome, stock clutch, so nice pedal pressure and easy to feather. Only thing with LW flywheels, they heat up fast, too much clutch kicking and feathering clutch will make it overheat.

- no chattering, smooth clutch engagement
- will stall hella easy though. not a good car to teach someone to drive a manual. lol

Thanks MisterJerk! Good info there. I dont clutch kick at all, and feather only at certain times so over heating shoudnt be an issue. I am familiar with how LWFW's drive, and how they easily stall so that should be fine with me. I have a lightened FW on my M5 as well.

So I will consider Toda's FW amongst the others. Id like to get their 4.4kg FW vs the 3.7 though.

300$+ will get you a nice flywheel. I would suggest either fidanza or toda. The chatter is caused by the flywheel not being balanced or not installed correctly. Whenever you get a new flywheel, it is a good idea to have it balanced.
