Ok so I blew my old blue top and picked up another 4age 16v out of a Fx16 and put it in my AE86 and got it running but it has no power at bottom end at all and bogs.I did a compression check and it and It was at 160psi on all 4 cylinders.it won't idle when cold I have to keep it running with the gas pedal but once it is warm it will idle fine.it also revs up when in neutral but bogs when in gear.

Check to make sure that your tvis is plugged in and working. Here is a a schematic of how the tvis is hooked up:

Make sure that all the vacuum hoses and electrical connections are plugged in. There is a blue connector under the intake manifold that is for the tvis I believe.

As far as a cold start issue. That can be a few things. It could possibly be:
1. The IACV under the throttle body. This controls the amount of air going behind the throttle blade.
- You can unscrew this and clean it out with some carb cleaner. Let is soak.
2. Bad temperature sensor to the ecu
3. Cold start injector is bad
4. Broken wire within the cold start circuit.
5. A connector is unplugged
