So my TE37 came with a 3tc bolted to a T50 GTS tranny,. And a single piece drive shaft with it,. Thing is I don't know from where or what it came from and the dam things u joints gave out and it's a crimped/stacked shaft meaning it's not serviceable the whole thing must go,...
My question is where did it comefrom and or where can I get one? I found suspicious garage as a source but am still interested in finding out where the single shaft originated from,. Any clues,?

It's been a few years, but I think you can still get replacement stake in u-joints for the AE86 drive shaft @ RADCO, try searching radcoent/universal. It requires grinding out the staking to remove the joint and re-staking after assembly. Dave W

You can probably convert to seviceable u joints, but it takes some doing. If you were to buy a refurbed ds and provide your old one as a core, they would convert/refurb your core then resell it.
