AE86 Pedal Springs help.

Postby EddieNanakase » Sat Jan 16, 2016 8:27 am

Hi, I took apart the pedals a while ago, I'm not sure about the two springs in the pic, but I am sure at least one of the
springs belongs to one of the pedals. I have been searching the internet for days and I can't find pics as reference.
Can someone confirm or let me know where these springs belong, thank you.

Thank you so much jondee86 ! At least now I know that spring belongs to the clutch pedal, I'll try to figure out how it's
assembled. I don't have that chrome pin below the white two plastic guides ( I only have one plastic guide that's about 70% worn out).
I know this might be asking too much, but do you have a pic of your AE86 pedals with the springs assembled ? I'm being honest, I
have been searching for pics for a while and only a few pics have the springs. I have an SR5 that I'm converting to a GTS, who knows
if items like that were different from the SR5 to the GTS model.

That's not my pic above... just something I found. But this diagram...

... should give you an idea where the parts go.

And there are similar diagrams on the interwebz for the brake peadal assembly.
