I've been lurking for a couple months now, here and other websites for info. On. Sticking with the t50 for autocross I can find bits and pieces of info. But My question is,
With an n/a high comp 4age will it hold up to autocross?
No hooning
Not a daily
Mild power mods?
If so will the t50 need a full rebuild?
My biggest curiosity is with seeing n2 replicas have "trd t50s" /" to the best of my knowledge that's a t50 with trd parts", will a bone stock t50 handle the abuse of autocross?
Please correct me if I'm wrong with any of this, and forgive me of any post errors. "First time ever being part of a forum".

T50 good for autocross??
Re: T50 good for autocross??
Auto-xing using a bone stock t50, should not be a problem, if the engine is making less the 180 HP. The stock trans will easily handle that type of abuse. I typically only make one shift off the start line and then run the rest of the autocross in 2nd gear. Dave W
Re: T50 good for autocross??
Thank you , that's all I needed to know. I haven't gotten a straight answer with my searching. I do one day plan to add boost but that will come with a w5 swap, would you possibly have any sources or builds I could look up for that?
Thanks again

Re: T50 good for autocross??
Gearing is good on the T50 with 4.3 rearend for most courses in NorCal. It also works perfectly for the NorCal tracks with exception of Thunderhill West.
In regards to reliability, I think you should be fine unless you intend to clutch kick while drifting. There is a lot of hype out there about how crappy the T50 is and most of it is garbage or comes from people that drift and clutch kick, which is not great for any transmission.
