I will the 5zigen header fit our american ae86?

Depends on what trim level you have. Do you have a GT-S or SR-5?

Second, what model is the header for?
Come back and tell a little bit more about what you have and what you're looking at.

It a 86 corolla gts hatch and I will find out what is the spec on the header.

Specs
SUS304 stainless steel, tig-welded, laser cut flange, 4-2-1 headers. Runner pipes are 42.7mm diameter, outlet is 50.8mm.

It should fit as the 5zigen website says that it is for the AE86 and that is for the 4AGE. This means that it can only be 16v and that it should fit all 4AGE Corollas.

Someone, correct me if I am wrong, but I think that you should just go ahead and get the headers.

Unless they are only for RHD cars like most headers available from Japan.

Checked again and the header is for the same side as a US 4AG.

FYI most - if not all - Japanese market rwd 4age manifolds won't fit a left hand drive vehicle. Lhd models have a steering rack in the way of the exhaust and rhd doesn't. If the manufacturer doesn't specify that it will fit lhd assume it won't.

Thanks for the useful information, I will try to locate a vibrant header. I was hoping somebody had experience with it. the header is $830 shipped.

You will not find a vibrant header new. Power craft japan makes a LHD header.

If you are at the 800 dollar range for a header and you are looking for quality, you might as well save up the rest and get a JSP.
