mounting alternator on exhaust side??

is it possible to mount the alternator on the exhasut side of a 4age rwd? if so is there a write up?

AW11 MR2 4A-GZE alternator bracket will mount it using OEM parts, but you will need something to replace the original alternator in order to tension the water pump belt.
