HID problem
HID problem
Just installed an HID kit in my car, but when I turn my headlights on, only the smaller bulb that's under the actual HID bulb turns on, which is the high beam i believe, that actual HID longer bulb doesn't turn on. I tried flipping my high beam switch but nothing happens. Any ideas on why it might be doing this? Also I tried flipping the plug on the ballast reverse, but still nothing.
Re: HID problem
try running a separate ground wire the oem wires are not right for hid conversions. mine did the same thing and a quick wire to the chassis did it for me.

Is the 12V+ wire to the headlights on a relay circuit from the factory? Or is it necessary to run relays to the battery connecting them to the ballasts when the headlight switch is turned on?
