Hello guys. I am new to the forum, so I apologize in advance if this isn't the right spot for this post, but I am looking for a reasonably priced/reliable steering wheel hub. Anyone with a lead? Thanks in advance, and don't forget to do it Dirty.

Boss is pretty much the cheapest you can get. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-STEERING-WHEEL-HUB-ADAPTER-BOSS-KIT-CAMRY-COROLLA-MR2-AE86-CELICA-SW20-GT-S-/111021050807

NRG is better quality, but more expensive, and you have to mill it for the turn signal cancellation to work. http://www.amazon.com/NRG-Innovations-SRK-120H-Short-Steering/dp/B001HAP4DA

Works bell has perfect fitment (even the turn signal cancel), and is high quality, but it probably doesn't mean your idea of reasonably priced.

Sorry to revive a dead thread but I'm between getting a Works Bell hub and a Momo hub. Ive heard stories about some Works Bell hubs breaking so I was wondering if anyone has any opinions about either

I've had the tall ae86 works bell hub for 4.5 years and no issues. I never heard of one failing, but I just did a quick search and was able to able to find 2 (links below). It sounds like there's a potential issue with over torquing the retention nut that holds the hub to the column because the cracks on the failed units seem to stem from the splined area - somewhat understandable I guess since the hub is machined aluminum. I always snugged the retention nut on mine a little past hand tight and haven't had any issues. The works bell documentation might specify a max tq. rating for the retention nut when using their unit in the included documentation, but I don't remember, plus it's all in Japanese anyway. The vendor in the miata forum said not to exceed 25 ft/lb.
