So new to the AE crowd, always wanted one. With me being a complete newbie to this i recently found this ad local to me http://columbia.craigslist.org/cto/4399756933.html now the car apparently had a gts swap. Only thing is a small spot of rust no problem but the cluster doesnt work which sounds funny to me since i thought the speedo was mechanical. The owner says it is just some sort of fancy fuse only the dealer carrier. Now those are my concerns unless i need to look out for more please let me know. Going to look at the car friday so hoping as long as everything is a simple fix I should be driving home my first AE! So please let me know what i should be looking for and question i should ask!

Since you are not familiar with the car, I'd skip this one and guy an original GTS. There are a lot of differences between an SR5 and GTS and it's impossible to tell from that ad how much of the conversion was done. Most people tend to do things in a hacky/cheap way and I'd bet this car is no exception.
