Instrument Cluster Issues

Postby SilverRoku » Mon Mar 10, 2014 9:32 am

Hey all, so I was swapping a set of Kouki instrument cluster faceplates and needles over to my Zenki cluster (to avoid messing with the ODO) and when trying to pull off the needles (much harder than I expected) I tweaked the Tacho a little so that it now rests about 500 RPM below what 0 would be. Is there anyway to fix this?
Also, I believed I messed up my coolant temperature gauge as it now goes all the way to Hot and does not move left. This was not an issue prior to me attempting to swap the needles and faceplates.
Anyway to fix this?
Or is there a source where I can find new components for either the Tacho or coolant gauge?

Thanks!

Find a new gauge. If I remember correctly those are springs, so once you unsprung a spring then its done. no hope in going back
